Access Control System For Two Doors
Proximity Reader
reader/writers are used for
Access Control and a wide variety
of Automatic Identification and
Data Collection applications.
Compliant with ISO 15693
standards, these high frequency
13.56 MHz units offer the latest in
open architecture and
interoperability.
The units have been optimized for
use in access control
applications. An industry-standard
Wiegand interface allows easy
connection to control panels by
most manufacturers. Bi-color LED
and buzzer control are also
provided.
An RS-485 communications
protocol is included. This permits
two-way data transfer for
read/write applications. Used
with, or instead of, the Wiegand
communications, RS-485 offers
the systems integrator unique
opportunities for merging access
control and other systems.
Secura Key offers contactless
smart cards, key tags, wrist bands
and other credentials for use with
these readers. Choose uncoded
cards that you can program in the
field, or factory-encoded cards
with our highly secure DES
encryption key.
“Personalized Stock” cards
feature a choice of colorful
backgrounds and up to 3 lines of
custom text. Custom 4-color
graphics, bar codes, magnetic
stripes, signature panels and
other options are also available.
This is a mullion-size reader that is
fully potted for extreme weather
conditions. a switchplate-sized
potted reader that can be used
with a single-gang electrical box.
Both models are easy to install
and very reliable.
ADVANCED CONTROL PANEL
The Advanced Control Panel is a
highly sophisticated, yet simple to
use, two door access control unit.
The unit accepts readers that
have a Wiegand output with
almost any card technology,
including Proximity, Touch Card,
Wiegand, Magnetic Stripe, Bar
Code, Optical, and Biometric.
Each of the two doors controlled
by the unit is completely
independent of the other and is
configured, programmed and
viewed separately. Each has a
separate node address.
Each of the two doors controlled
by the unit has two programmable
inputs which may be programmed
to function as a door open,
remote inactive, door monitor,
tamper, arming circuit, door
unlock, or user defined input.
Each of the two doors controlled
by the unit has two outputs. One
output is the relay that activates
the door operating device. The
other output is programmable to
activate under one of many
possible alarm conditions, time
zone or card violations.
As a stand alone, the unit may be
programmed using a PC either
locally or via a modem over
standard phone lines. Transaction
information is stored by the unit
and may be downloaded to a PC
or printer.
Over 100 SK- ACP-LE units may
be connected together to control
over 200 passageways with SK-
NET™ software, using a single
twisted pair RS-485 bus. SK-
NET™ software allows integration
of the units into a full featured
Windows® based, access control
system.
